Fit

The M1 is MTTRs first silhouette. It is a minimal, relaxed tapered fit with a medium rise, with room in the thighs and a slight taper throughout the leg for a clean and contemporary shape. Without any gender bias.

Designed by denim legend, Mohsin Sajid of Endrime, and hand made with an unmatched quality by the artisans at Blackhorse Lane Ateliers, London’s only craft jean maker.

Fabric

MTTR is the first brand to be using a groundbreaking new 12oz. regenerated denim from the iconic Cone Denim called Bonzai, made from 100% recycled PIW cotton (both warp and weft), which is GRS certified.

Which means, the massive inputs needed to grow the cotton to make the jean have been saved.

Depending on which report you read, that could be up to as much as 8,000 litres of water. As well as harmful pesticides and fertilisers.

Bonzai is also dyed using Distilled Indigo™ — pre-reduced “liquid indigo” dyes which “are the cleanest in the market”.

Taking responsibility for what we make is super important. That’s why we offer a repair service 4 times a year.

Shipping

We all know shipping stuff around the world isn’t great for the planet, so until I understand the impacts of shipping worldwide the MTTR jean will only be available in the UK. Sorry.

Think before you buy

I’m very proud of the MTTR jean.

But if you are thinking of buying
jeans I’d always first recommend
buying second-hand.

If for any reason you can’t,
I believe a MTTR jean is a good
alternative to mass produced
denim which is trashing our home
planet.

But remember, they’re only jeans.

They won’t make you smarter,
cooler or sexier.

More importantly, they won’t make
you happy — you make you happy.
